All night long Laying awake Trying to figure out What I’ve done wrong You know I love you And I know you love me But honey I can’t see What has gone wrong At work I can’t concentrate And at night, I stay up late Angry at you For making me feel this way Babe, my hopes were way over my head Now they’re down on the ground instead I thought there was some kind of future But I guess it was a dream And not all things are what they seem I know you love me You know I love you But there is nothing left for me to show And nothing left for me to do But to let you go But I swear I’ll never forget you And you will see I’ll walk beside you For eternity |

Nice poem....for a cop-out. What you are really saying is that you no longer "like" her. True love keeps going.... Maybe I am being overly critical because everything hinges on what you mean by "let you go." I still believe the poet is giving up way too soon. INclan |

Er...um...explanation marks are um cousins to exclamation marks and Maree used to use them a LOT. Can't show you one - it's not on MY keyboard..in fact, I think explanation marks are really an Australian thing. So there.  K |
