The stains are there, they won't wash away tears into a pillow in fragile array Soaked into linen smothered by night tears into a pillow unseen by light No sound accompanies but the silence is loud tears into a pillow midnight rain cloud Sleep finally comes in the small hours of dark tears into a pillow have left their mark Yet peace won't appear in eyes which have cried tears into a pillow for love that has died When daylight is over and sunshine is gone tears into a pillow continue on… caroline all rights reserved ------------------ The only man worth your tears will never make you cry... |
