Is that you gazing at the stars? In awe of the beauty of the night? The moon, so pale and bloodless Is a vampire that roams in the dark. Kneeling on your lawn, mesmerized Do you ever feel that the stars are stealing you away? I can feel them grasping my soul Wishing I was somewhere else. Make a wish, don't be afraid If it comes true then you will know That when the day of your death comes You will forever grace the night sky. ------------------ "They sing the stories of the present, of people trapped in a shadow world" ~Charlotte Seley~ |
