To tell you the truth...I liked this poem...and had just gotten into it- And it ended!!! Too abruptly, might I add..... ------------------ Thinking is just what a great many people think they are doing when they are merely rearranging their predjudices. |

I am just glowing with happiness here, Richard!  You are a wonderful person, but how fabulously bright you shine when you're *smitten* by someone as lovely as she !! Marilyn, just in case you are wondering, I know Richard - and he has got to be one of the most sincere and *mature* men I have ever known!! He is genuine with a capital *G*.......I believe your heart would be safe with him - he hurts no one, and is very forgiving when hurt. He has been a friend to me and stood by me, when no other man would in his position. That's how I know he is sincere about his friendships and relationships...He is a dear friend of mine, and I know how crazy he is about YOU !!! I wish you two the bestest of best luck! Whooooaaaa!!! Richard already knows how I feel and where I stand but I need to say this for the rest of you. I think Richard as very special and sooo sweet, he is my friend and I value him. What I have a problem with is LOVE!! Denise's reply totally threw me back a few paces. This is NOT love. How can it be? We have read eachothers work and have talk several times on line. There is an attraction but LOVE is something completely different. Besides which, I am so petrified of love I freeze up. I wish I could feel the way Richard wants me too but I can not (at this time anyway). Push this too hard (Richard or anyone else) and I will guarentee I will run so fast you'll hardly see my dust. I am sorry if this sounds harsh. It wasn't intended to, I just needed you all to know my position. |

One other thing, this poem is not an expression of love , it is one of admiration, and attraction, I am tryind to show Marilyn that I believe In her as a person, I'm trying to help her find herself, so that maybe someday she can love me, "key word" someday. Richard |

Marilyn, you voiced your feelings quite well on this point. When the time is right, it will happen. I believe Richard to be quite patient and willing to be there in the capacity of a friend for you until you decide you want something more. Perhaps he is "the one", perhaps not, but that is for you alone to decide and no one else. Richard, take care of this one, she is a special person. Ruth |

Ohhhh if you two could only know... LOL I read all of your replies, and cant help but laugh a little because I had to look twice at the names next to your replies to each other and make sure they werent Mine and Somebody elses!!!! LOL If you guys could read my ICQ history file, you would both laugh sooo hard I am in the EXACT same boat right now  but PATIENTS I tell you... Richard, our position is one of the hardest to be in. There is no problem, for I understand, I have been in the same boat as she!!!!! Marilyn don't worry everything is ok. Ruth I certainly will take good care of Marilyn, Whether it's like a friend, or as my love someday, I would prefer boath if I am lucky. |

hehe I'm sorry too...I might have gone overboard with my first response, however, I didn't mention "love"....I just know that Richard is very fond of you....he is a wonderful man, and whether you two are friends or whatever, I know he indeed feels very lucky....I see his smiles all the way from here!
