Dappled grey my lover's eye winks And eye to eye a fragile memory is born Amidst the wreckage of prior romance shorn Dancing to the tune of silvered droplet plinks. Dusty rose my lover's lips purse And lip to lip a growing memory stands Takes heated iron in hand and my heart brands; The pain of ectasy does bless and curse. Driven snow my lover's skin yields And skin to skin a virile memory alive Brings us closer; waxing passions derive; Memory a monolith to us and love builds. Eyes and lips and skin does she possess But never with these will she me bless. Alicat the persnikitty [This message has been edited by Alicat (edited 10-04-1999).] |

I like this, dear, has an old world feel to it. Like the rhyming sequence you used. |

Is it wrong to say "Awesome"? Welp, too late, my dear. The deed is done. Now, I do have a silly question...Is this form a "sonnet" perhaps? (Still learning hehehe) |
