Coming Storm

Flash of lightening
fills the window
opened slightly
allowing thunder
to lunge through
and rattle
me from sleep

Perfection! I can almost imagine being awoken by this storm! I say almost 'cause nothing wakes me up! I've even slept through earthquakes! Very good, Robert.

ok..../concise..terse. Let me look up terse.
...Hmmmm ok yes. - using as few words as possible without loss of force or clearness.
