He promised he would never leave me,
he said he always cared.
He always said, ”I love you”
until he took the dare.
All was going fine,
until 8:30 that night.
The party started getting rowdy,
he got into one little fight.
His friend said, ”try it”
He said, ”I can’t”
“Come on just do it”
and handed him a light.
He took it and tried it,
he knew it wasn’t right.
“Why did I do this,”
were his last words that night.
They took him to the hospital,
this boy just ruined his life!
I kissed him on the head,
good-bye, have a nice flight.
I was always his little princess,
and forever I will be.
Fair well dearest Nik,
I will always think of thee.

Hey Mystic,
This is a very nice poem, also very sad. I am sorry about Nik, but maybe your poem could teach people not to take that first light, for it may be their last, or it may be the first of many that will eventually rule over them. Thanks for sharing your poem and I hope to see more from you.

That is such a sad poem. I feal so sorry for you, I have lost classmates and friends through my short time here on this world, and it hurts every time.

A poem for you, from a friend,
In hopes that hearts will mend.

I do hope that you will feel better.

Such a sad poem, although very good. I'm sorry if it's true. I've recently lost a classmate, and my school is small, so it was hard on everyone. I hope all works out.
