Long ago When I was young I was happy, I had lots of fun. But then I learned The world is cruel People are mean We're all but tools. So from then on I'd killed my heart I didn't feel sadness Nor happiness or joy Anger wasn't real And rage just wasn't there. My emotions were dead And so was my soul. Then I met Someone who cared Who trully made the world seem to shine And my emotions came back Flooded through my mind Through my heart and soul. I liked these things That had been hidden in that hole So deep in my mind, So long ago. But I got greedy I wanted more I met another And hurt the one Who helped me see That there can be joy. What's done is done, And I've probably lost that one And my heart aches My sould yearns For the time when I'd not felt joy Happiness or contentment Becuase they have only brought me Pain and hurt To those I love And to myself. So now I know That nothing can be good When you can feel things Becuase all they'll bring Is the pain and grief That hurts us all. "Sa souvraya niende missian ye." \ I am lost in my own mind. Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice From what I've tasted of desire, I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great, And would suffice. -Robert Frost |

Oh dear. This poem is very desolate...it speaks volumes of the sorrow and regret in your soul. All I can say is: Don't give up cos it's always darkest before dawn. I can not really say much about this poem because the pain that I have been feeling for a VERY long time is because I was cheated on. This poem was very well-written though. Whatever you do, don't walk away because they might STILL love you. I know I did, and I stayed with him. Then again I shouldn't have because he broke my heart 3 times. Just remember this:"Love is like sand; if you hold it too tightly, it can slip right through your fingers"***personal experience (:***Stephani***:) "A true friend will always stay a friend whether or not you feel as though the friendship or relationship is about to end." |

regret and sorrow are two things that will go away if you let them go. other feelings are the ones that you must earn. its a fact of life, just make the best of what you can. |
