Roses

I went to visit you,
I went to see your grave,
All of your smiles and laughs,
And memories I`ll save.

I tried not to cry,
But it was too late,
Tears started to roll,
As I entered the gate.

I sent you roses,
They were quite a sight,
They reminded me of you,
All pure and white.

Filled with beauty,
And yet so wild,
Why was it you?
You were only a child.
