I was passing by your house today I noticed your car was there So I figured you were home I wanted to stop But I knew it would only make things worse Thinking about what happened Makes me want to cry But I'm afraid if I do I won't be able to stop I was passing by your house today I noticed you were in your room So I knew you were home I wanted to stop But I knew it wouldn't change anything So I left you a note on your porch Telling you I am sorry I hope you can forgive me Even though we're not a couple anymore I hope we can still be friends ------------------ Heather Thomas |

Enjoyed this...felt the fear and confusion. It does leave one with the question why the break up? It is not my business but the poem leaves the reader wondering why? |
