The following poem is loosely structured along the lines of Trees by Joyce Kilmer To Sunshine I love to read your poetry. Your graceful verse inspires me To greater heights of healing hope, Your words encourage me to cope; To brighter thoughts in worried times, I am encouraged by your rhymes. I try to emulate your style, The writing habits you compile. Your poems show me how it’s done You’ve taught me more than anyone. So gratefully, I pen this verse, To live the joy that you endorse. |

Cool! Mission accomplished. You reflected both your concept and Sunshine in one fell swoop. Bravo. And I concur. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

I wish the poets could hear you read this, my friend. You truly caught Kilmer's voice. I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond to this lovely...my home computer took a nosedive. Keep your fingers crossed that we will be able to retrieve everything. |
