The Rules of Life

Rule number one is so simple-
"To thine own self, sir, be true"
And rule number two is much like it-
"Take heed what you say and you do."

Rule number three is no hard one-
"Treat others the way that you wish
Yourself to be treated by others..."
And your life will be lived in bliss.

Rule number four must read thusly-
When all else is said and is done-
And others refuse to abide by the rules....
Refer then to rule number one.
