BUCKLE UP WITH JESUS

The devil's in the drivers seat
twenty-four hours a day
he'll never allow you to drive
and take his control away

He will break every law and rule
while your on his joy ride
telling you all you see is yours
if you just selfishly cheat and lie

I'll be your private chauffeur
through all you say and do
i'll place no guilt upon you
do whatever you like to do

Get drunk,do drugs
party through out the night
have sex and disrespect others
that are in your life

Wear something cool and light
for we shall drive through hot weather
knowing all the time he rejoices
I will return you never

Now If You Buckle Up With Jesus
and ride in His fine car
He'll teach you all the safety rules
that will take you near or far

Jesus will teach you how to drive
the more you become like Him
He'll drive you down the road of paridise
where new life for you begins

The Lord will tell you of the evils
a joy ride with satan can bring
that all the devil offers in the fast lane
to you at the end would mean nothing

Christ will show you the holy warrenty
as He offers His car to you
fixing breakdowns and repairs with promises
covered by His blood to remain new

Free gas service given by Him
when you find your self running on empty
tires rotated and changed as needed
and the price for all this is free

Jesus has warning signs and detours
placed everywhere you go
stop signs and proceed with caution
to keep you safe for He loves you so

Now tell me who's car you'd climb into
when they both stop to offer you a lift
will you climb in the evil go nowhere mobile
or God's Royal Royce full of treasures and gifts
