Will ya'll hate me? I have been 'round a long while studied just 'bout everything theology, a plenty, the pyramids the world and people in general Psychology, nutrition, past lives Souls galore, birth and death am a certified reverend yet do not believe in the almighty God I believe that Jesus walked and I believe in reincarnation and have never been baptised and shall die without doing so Pergatory sounds more fun than heaven do not believe in satan or losing one's souls or burning into eternity with sin of my ancestors Superstition just makes me laugh I will break a mirror and never worry never throw salt over my shoulder and the almighty in the bible actually angers me - such a jealous vindictive guy Never do I worry about after life or death or where I am going and I know where I have been Oh, I have sinned and yet have not a fear of death I believe in spirituality call it mother earth if you will I believe that what comes 'round goes 'round with a vengeance and that we all have control of our fate I let people believe what they want to believe, long as they are not hurtin' anybody am I evil, am I sinful? I have had my moments in time where I have sinned against my own self and my own morals but, nay, have never sinned against another - at least, not that I have known of Is it wrong to not be superstitious? Do ya'll think I will burn in hell sure don't want to go heaven sounds so darn boring there Yet, I have one of the biggest hearts and goodness that you will ever know but still I can't follow like a sheep this bible that people preach Do ya'll hate me? ~netswan |

Dear Netswan; In case you haven't heard, there is a little rule around here at spiritual and it's this ...We all love and respect each others beliefs and individual spirituality. So you won't find any hatred in this forum, Just lots of love for who you are and respect for whatever you choose to believe. You poem is beautifully written and you are a warm and lovely poet. If you studied all these things, why is it you choose not to believe in God? It is your choice of course, and no one can hate you for that. I am curious to know why you don't believe though. |

I studied because i wanted more goodness in life, and to make a difference in other people's lifes I have not found what I am looking for, though I am a very spiritual person.
