In the moments
Of my sadness
You were standing by
Sharing in my tears

When I doubted
Faith in you
You held your
Faith in me
Waiting patiently

When I was ready
You gave me
A second chance
To find my way
Back to you
Knowing I would come

You offered me
Your forgiveness
No questions asked
Mistakes I made
Were put in the past

You helped me
In my struggle
To move on
There to catch me
If I should fall

No matter what
I've done or do
You are always there
For this I thank you
God

Isn't it wonderful to have a God who's always on call, who will let us fall, and learn from our mistakes, but is always there ready to help left us up again. Your poem expressed it well. Thank you

Thank you all for the replies. It is definately fullfilling to have such a loving and forgiving God. I have felt His presence all along in my life even though I only truly accepted it in the past 2 years. Thankfully He didn't give up on me.
