happiness for me is merely a dream a fleeting glance of hope and joy I wish upon a star the star falls and fades away I cry my tears of failure a puddle of unwant collects there is more to me but most don't know look deep and know me not the outside but the real me I am more than a picture I am a complex masterpiece my life slowly begins to brighten who has done this thing why am I now happy who could allow me to smile I know who it was and His love will never die I love Him and He loves me I am safe in the arms of God. < !signature--> Isaiah 1:18 "Everyone loves a rose, will you be thankful for the thorns?" Allstaria, Wonderful job and I join with you in finding comfort in His love. We are surely disappointed in day to day dreams but find joy in knowing we are preparing for eternal rewards. Loved this piece. Marcy |

One little note here, I think you meant this to be a (than) and not a (that) "I am more that a picture" This sends of one of those bubbling feelings after reading it! It draws excitement from the reader. Wonderful, wonderful work! |

"I am a complex masterpiece..." and believe me, Allstaria, He did not mean to make anything simple! This was a nice piece of work and I concur with Whtdove and the slight change that could be made. Then, a masterpiece, as you are! Sunshine ~~~Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow. Helen Keller ~~~ |
