A NEW AND GLORIOUS DAY

Morning breaks forth
Through the storm clouds
Like a chorus of singing angels
With shimmering wings entwined
Descending in perfect unity
Upon unsuspecting earth.
Showering her with harmonious
Golden splendor, each ray of light
Significantly filled with spontaneity
Gives life to every blade and bloom
Reaching out for some gleaming wonderment.
Dew scented teardrops fall
From God's loving eyes
Toward an awakening world
Blanketed in the pure warmth
Of a freshly budding dawn
And new beginnings soar
While creation rejoices
A rainbow reflection
In a smiling sun.
