It sounds like you're having a difficult time. The only way to cope is to keep clinging to God and He will give you the courage that you need. Beautifully written poem, Allistair, keep writting too. You can use this pain to write and flourish in you gift of poetry. Love, Ellie Summers haunting melody that awakens the butterflies, calling them to join the dance in their silent song of praise to God. ellie LeJeune |

I see a heavy heart, one who would do anything to change the world for the better- but has not yet found that inward peace & patience of soul. Yet as you have said--your quest is indeed more bearable, by keeping the ultimate sacrifices the Lord has made on our behalf. May I suggest two passages of scripture for you to read- one which so directs us to focus on Jesus so we will not lose heart, and the other which gives guidance to help us find the peace of God and the God of peace in our lives. They are: Hebrews 12:1-4 and Phililppians 4:4-13. God bless you,Friend-Keep on keeping on, David< !signature--> "GOD GIVES- but man must open his hand." Wow! Sad but powerful! This has said a lot to me. If I'm getting this right, we can't pay back Jesus for what He did for us. He did it out of love. But we can give our lives to Him, and we can help others. I was always one who wanted to change every broken heart I saw. Those who were starving, and homeless, and it tore me up. We are each given a gift, whether that may be just smiling at the right person at the right time, or telling someone else. He works through us without us even being aware of it sometimes. How do the lost cope without Him? Not very well. My sister is one of those lost. If it's not meant to be it won't be. Sometimes it for there own protection. I liked this very much. I could go on and on here but I will quit now. God bless you in your journey! |

Allstaria22 - I've been where you are, having a hard time understanding....still do at times, but He is always there, and He will hold you up and give you strength. And soon enough you'll see a butterfly, a baby bunny, or just feel a gentle breeze, and you'll know, He's there. Heart wrenching, beautifully written piece. Take care, Bonnie |

we don't cope, that is why we are lost. 'In my eyes I see a blur of things that others see so clearly' |
