As I sit here
delighting in
this summers
garden,
that You and I
have created,
the two water
fountains
dance and play
with the sounds
of quiet peace,
and I think,
without the water
You send
upon this haven place
there would be
no beauty,
no abundant blossoms
sweet.

So are the baptizing
waters
that make my soul
grow in Grace.
Your life giving
waters,
that are life giving
to all,
who are willing
to come unto You.

For as we thirst,
so Your Love
quenches,
and refreshes our
souls,
by the still waters
that flow
from Your everlasting
Word.

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

A nice visual corrlation between the natural waters and the spiritual waters. Excuse me, but I need to leave and refresh my garden in His Love expressed through His everlasting Word... Beautiful.

Ellie this was soul warming! Peaceful beauty.
Often times we don't like the rain, but without it we sure wouldn't have all the beauty. Nor, would we have it within our soul, the baptism, for He is the Living Water.
