Genesis 32:13-28 The Father came to Jacob, at evening whilst he slept and called him to his heritage, at this poor Jacob wept I am so unworthy, but bless me if I've kept any of your promises, "oh bless me" Jacob wept." The Father came to Jacob, and heard him cry and moan then Jacob cried in anguish " oh let me not alone" "I'm fearful of my brother's wrath for the deeds I've done oh stay with me and see me through I'm trying to atone." The Father came to Jacob and as they wrestled there Jacob cried, "you cannot go, it really isn't fair" "I so much want your blessing and I am so aware A worm am I, unlovely, with hip displaced by care." The Father came to Jacob and as they struggled on received the heavenly blessing that softly came with dawn Jacob now was Israel, a nation newly born with past forgot and future, promise of the Son. |
