Standing Alone in the darkness my soul searches for light. Telling myself that its out there I see Others,they have found light but where, by whom.My Darkness consumes me more and more with every passing day. Suddenly A flash of light I catch a glimpse of the road ahead.I..I see me Full of Love. I Cherish this moment: I am Interupted by a strong vocie It Says to me " Stop Looking for the light, You will not find it down that road You are destened for a another road the road of the lord. Trust,love and know him and your darkness will be no more." |

 God is Light. He is so intense that if He was to reveal how Bright He truly is, we would not be able to bare it (probably go blind or something)... I think God gave you just a glimpse of what He has for you to keep you on the right path or from the wrong one and that is such a wonderful blessing. Thank you so much for sharing. Welcome to Passions and Spiritual!! God always knows where we are, He never loses us. It is we who search. When we open our minds and let Him in, it is then we find Him. If we but ask, we'll receive. We find Him through His word as well. That doesn't mean we won't go down anymore wrong roads, because at times we will. It just means that no matter what, He'll always be there for us. He'll lift us out of that darkness, and guide us back to that narrow path we should walk. I love your poem! I hope also that we see many more from you. You express the truth in a lovely way,EofA! All roads may lead top Rome- but not al-or any actually lead to to Light-- but Jesus does, and in Him, who is the Way, we have abundant Light! (John 8:12 says Then Jesus spoke to them again, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.") WOW- another day of life-and here among friends! Ain't God Grand! |
