In the event of my soon demise Let me state this clear, I'm glad we got a chance to meet And share our talents here. This may sound ovelry morbid Or melodramatic to you, But as I get more up in years I know my days are few. If anyone, I've offended I please ask you to forgive, Going around with hurt feelings Just is no way to live. I hope I've been a blessing To some who needed strength, Or a laugh or a kind word To help you go the length. I know my life's far from perfect In my life I've made many a mistake, Please overlook my weaknesses (I'm a sinner, for Heaven's sake)! I thank you for the richness In the sharing that you do, You added to my life's sterhouse I'm richer because of you! No, I'm not suicidal I'll go in God's good time, But of my death, I'm accepting It's part of this life of mine. To God be all the glory I'm forever in His debt, For giving me friends and all things I'll praise Him with the life I have left. WOW- another day of life-and here among friends! Ain't God Grand! |

Amen to Dennis' reply David....You have been a friend, a mentor, and a comedian for us here. I can't begin to tell you how much I have learned from your beautiful words. My Dear friend: I have to echo Dennis and Bonnie with every word they said. You have helped me to delve into scripture more deeply than I ever had, you have been my encouragement in writing poetry, so that I have grown and am a better poet for you sincere appreciation. You have been my friend, who makes me laugh, until I'm in tears.
