Friends of mine, here and in glory, Are Blessings in my own Life story. Gifts of God, not to be lonely, Not bought, acceptedin Love only. Friends of mine, a lifetime through, Touch my heart, life and all I do. How poor this world,without these jewels, God bless my friends, yes God Bless You! Kindly deeds, once shown in giving, Ev'n by Friends now past from living Still live on, ours to keep ever, Retained, enriched by mem'ries treasure! May I be what you are needing, A friend, in concern and greeting-- To your aid, as the need arises, Your Friend, through Life and it's surprizes!
