On Bended Knee As I find my way to my knees tonight I reflect on a time filled with fright A day I found no reason for a smile One where a block seemed to be a mile I was lost and without much hope Living each moment only to cope I refused to see the miracle of you As I rushed around without a clue In a moment when I needed you most I was invited by a friend on the coast Her words may not seem much to some Just enough for me to finally succumb In just a single line in a letter of reach She found this soul in which to teach As blind as I was to all I knew was there She took her belief and decided to share So now as I get down on bended knee I ask in prayer this little heartfelt plea A heavenly thank you for you to send To BloomingRose...my spiritual friend Mark Bohannan *Deb-Just a little thank you from my heart for showing me that it is never too late to find the path to God once again. If you find yourself stranded in a storm ...then reach for my hand and we will play in the puddles together |

Ellie-I am indeed blessed to have had her take the time to bring me back to what I knew was waiting but didn't have the courage to do on my own. Everyday that I give thanks to God it is giving her thanks as well and I just wanted her to know that I have not forgotten. Thank you so much. Kathleen-Thank you dearly. Mark~ Sorry I missed this. I have been sick for a few days. You are right...it's never too late to get on the right path. No matter how dark the road, God will shine a light for all to see and find the way. It's not always easy, but it's there. God loves you so much Mark, a pure unconditional love. He knows even this very moment what you need and will be there. Sometimes in prayer, we need only to call out his name. Jesus will be there. Very heartfelt poem. Thank you, Deb |
