I once knew a man named hate who dwelled inside my soul I gave him my heart time and again he hurt me but I kept him closer than any never making a move with out him never letting anyone closer than him always looking through his eyes I once knew a man named hate who thought he was stronger than God and took the people God had made to fight a loosing battle against good I was in that war fighting against hope fighting against love I once knew a man named hate who died in my heart on one september day when love smiled at me with a crooked grin and opened my heart to beauty I once knew a man named hate but now I know a man named love Isaiah 1:18 "Everybody loves a rose, will you be thankful for the thorns?" -All Together Seperate |
