If You Played with the Universe |

If you played with the universe, planted the stars, and set galaxies firmly in place - what care would you have for a heart's weary sigh or the tears on a child's frightened face? If you strode across time where no boundaries exist, with eternity's shell in your hand - what care would you have to count breaths of a dove or to measure each granule of sand? Comprehension of greatness means knowing each fiber is needed to weave the design; the strands are the wholeness, the whole is the strands, and each leaf to a star is aligned. Every whimper of pain and each trill of delight is the voice of the Ultimate All; each molecule trailing a thread of the power that answered God's genesis call. So if God formed the universe, why should He care for our burdens, our wounds and our fears? We're part of His essence - His essence in us - through dimensions beyond human sphere. Dear Lary; This is truly an exquisite poem! A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

I liked this one alot. especially this stanza "Every whimper of pain and each trill of delight is the voice of the Ultimate All; each molecule trailing a thread of the power that answered God's genesis call." I like the anapestic rhythm of this. It flowed very well. Isn't it awesome that God who is so high in his knowledge of creation, also stoops low enough in care to note a falling sparrow and to know the number of hairs on our heads? God bless. Stephen. |

This was excellent! Sounds like someone had a deep thought. Let the thoughts wonder upon the awesomeness of His being. Love it! <*\\\>< I know not what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future. I don't question YOUR existance - GOD |

Lary, Your poetry describes the expansiveness of God in that God exists as an intricate part of the smallest molecule and of infanite space..... and yet, God is interconnected with us in our lives as well. This is a marvelous meditation and I do thank you for sharing this with me in poetic form. God Bless You, Bob <>< |
