Lord, You take our pain,
and show us those in need,
so we can reach out...
to comfort those who share
our very same wounds.

Sometimes giving us a friend,
who resides in our boat,
which You are the Captain of.

You have just done this..
for you've given such a friend.
Both raising young daughters
of tender teenage years.
Both betrayed by husbands
of the exact first names,
both of us Passions poets here.

Both women of faith,
who love You, my Lord.
