I used to weep on Fathers day, when I would read poems written by daughters, whose fathers cherished them. Then one blessed day, from far across the sea, a beautiful soul of a man, read one of my poems. He sent me an e-mail to say he loved it. That was the beginning, when God restored to me, a loving father I never knew. This man, me Da, Has a heart bigger than all the Kings. and braver because he gives love with courage. Courage to be soft and warm. His strength, is that he knows himself and likes what he sees. More courage still, because in the face of infirmity, he laughs! Most of all, he thinks I'm wonderful! A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

Ellie, What a big, wonderful heart has this man, Da.... but, I kinda think your wonderful too. ...and so does daddy God, this you can be most certain. It was a sad poem, but comforting to know that God never leaves us or forsakes us.... He does send Special people our way. Bob <>< |

There is so much love out there. It's just a matter of matching people up. Joyce |

How imprfect our life situations are- it causes us to wonder sometimes--But how wonderful those touches of Grace & God's goodness- manifest to us in so many different and unsuspecting ways--It makes us realize and appreciate just how much we are loved, above & beyond any dissapoint and heartache we may experience. Your poem here, brought out that truth wonderfully! David No Better Place do I know God Bless us All!!! |

We couldn't have a more perfect "Father" to write poetry for could we Ellie? This was a tender piece, written well, with an open message. Loved it! ![]() <*\\\>< |

Yes, God is a father to the fatherless and will see to it our needs are met if we depend on Him. Your poem reaffirms God's promise, ellie. Thank you, Rae |

Written so very well with such clear truth. "I am not now that which I have been." |
