As I gaze at these Pansies, colorfully stalwart in my garden, I feel a oneness of Spirit here. Planted in cold winds of March, they barely survived a snowfall, and chilled winter winds. God has made you strong to withstand the harsh cold. You grow more beautiful with each assault that comes, and raise your lovely face to drink in the morning Son. So my soul has been tried by losses and pain as winter chill. And as the little Pansy, Your Love sustains my soul. For as I cling to Your Arms, and drink in Your Son's Grace, I too become more lovely. As Spring will ever warm the earth, so I shall grow in strength and love, in Your Words of Eternal Promise! A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

This is a lovely poem and a lovely comparison. I too marvel at the strength of the pansy. Joyce |

ellie: I enjoyed this so much. The hardy flowers are a good comparison with people aren't they? Our strength comes from the same place. Betty Lou Hebert |

The darkest hour is just before dawn. The coldest winter is just before the vanguard of spring. Lovely |
