straight in to the mirror looking at myself and wondering who is that girl that I see? can she really be the same girl who tried to die on purpose? the same girl that used to hurt people for fun? the same one who hurt herself for pleasure? the one who cursed Your name for vengance? she was so angry so full of hate and sorrow so cynical so sad But now I see no trace of her instead I see a woman who loves all that she sees who tries to help people who sees the good side of so much she's seen so much pain worse in the years she has known You so many reasons to hate but she loves she sees the goodside of everything even her own death how did this happen in such a short time to go from one extreme to the other is it because she feels loved now? because she knows she is not alone? because You give her life meaning? or is it because now she sees through a different set of eyes? Isaiah 1:18 |
