We haven't seen the sun for several days.
Is this our usual September fog, or
Has the smoked grief from many miles away
Deepened our natural darkness even more?

Our hearts, our limbs are weak from bitterness.
We feel the hurtful hate run through our veins.
Be with us Lord, and guide us on our way.
Harming the blameless will not ease our pains.

A week ago today, the skies fell in
On beloved husbands, parents, daughters, sons.
Their deaths a dreadful act of corrupt hate.
Let no more harm occur to innocent ones.

Let not our leaders be in too much haste.
Let only those to blame feel righteous wrath.
May your guidance be with us each day;
Your light before us as we walk this path.

my hope would be that only those to blame are "taken care of"...........my prayers stay with the victims and their families.....

I join the chorus of Amens here! Let our righteous wrath be toward the individual terrorist groups that have brought this horrid corruption to our world and stay our hearts and minds away from any ill feelings or evil action that might hurt any innocent one. God bless you. -Bob
