A Mass of Angels

There's star-shine and the moonlight waits
Behind the hills, where Heaven's gates
Are opening to aid the flow
Of angels to the earth below.

Controlling Fates sometimes allow
A heart to break, a head to bow
And then it is that angels mass,
Until the grief and sorrow pass.

You hear a whisper in the air
And know without a doubt, they're there.
To comfort and protect each soul.
It is their purpose and their goal.

Now never in our history
Has there been such a need to be
Surrounded by an angel band
To bless us and our wounded land.

There are angels all around us and some of them come in human form. Joyce
