Choices God made Eden, but He knew The odds were really very few That man would be content to stay Within it's borders, every day. He gave us will, to make a choice, A restless soul, a lucid voice And on the day sin entered in, He knew our journey would begin. He made our planet to supply Our every need and multiply, So every generation found There was enough to go around. The flora and the fauna met Every need that we've had yet, But most of us are looking for The path to Paradise once more. How often I've thought we're so much like those led out of Egypt, lives saved soon began griping about petty things. No beauty I know of, surpasses that of a thankful heart. Yours is exposed in your poetry. Thank you, Rae |
