And now I sit my hands folded gently on my brand new suit trying to find the way in a world that seems so cruel I'm blinded by self indulgence gagged by what I eat strangled the air is to think I need some help now please There was a day when I was young when I thought it went my way now that day is long gone and I know I've gone astray the road is hard the road is tough can I make it through it the rose it bleeds thorn in my side my blind eyes seeing. disbelief and confusion here nothing ever seemed so clear I hear voice tell me it's yours cause I long to hear you I see a face is it yours cause I long to see you I"m crying but no tears fall I'm dying do you hear my call crying out for salvation in a world that seems so cruel in a world that seems so cruel in a world that seems so cruel I kissed you then killed your flesh your spirit now consumes me I'm wondring how it could be that these blind eyes do see that these blind eyes do see that these blind eyes do see we fall like the stars then rise like the sun..Repentence.Forgiveness.We are blame worthy hold us to our wrongs..but don't hold our wrongs against us |
