Things to Know When my time here on earth is done And my life’s race has been run There are things I want to know Did my life count; did my faith show When my eyes close and this life is no more And I am with the One I adore Will others remember my love for the Lord And the truths of His mighty Sword When I kneel before Almighty God No longer a part of this earthly sod Will He look at me and say, “Well done” Faithful servant your race has been won There are things I really want to know Life is short; then it’s time to go When I stand before Christ, my King Will there be crowns, for Him, I bring I don’t want to stand in shame and tears I don’t want to be filled with fears I want to experience joy inexpressable And thank God eternal life was accessible Written by, Wanda 11/8/01

The whole thing was great but I particularly liked the last stanza "I don’t want to stand in shame and tears I don’t want to be filled with fears I want to experience joy inexpressable And thank God eternal life was accessible" This was awesome. Thank you Jon "Only God can judge me" Tupac Shakur |

Ellie; I think that is a wonderful prayer to pray. I think of the passage of scripture that says, "We love because He first loved us." We have the capacity to love because His Spirit indwells our body house. To share His love is one of the greatest privileges we have. Thank you for your response to this poem. Wanda |
