Thy hands softly pull needle between the threads, Sewing a picture I yet haven't understood; Thy stitches lay down good paths for each step, Though I lack of the comprehension of them; Thy fingers hurt when a drop of red appear on the face of thy work, As though the dot is on thy face; Thy lovly thoughts often go unnoticed Yet thy caring touch keeps an eye on us. Oh, thy love... what shall I do with it. Thy love is so great yet I'm such an underseved thing!- I, who should bend on my knees, Delay my thanks, my seeking of you. //I've written a poem about sewing b4, but this is different. If you've read both, which one do you like better? (The poem was called 'Sewing') ~Flower lasts so an hour, yet spring will brings her back to life again. |

This poem is as tender as the hands that did the sewing. Joyce |
