He Forever Holds You

If sorrow sets upon thy shoulder,
And down lifes path does follow thee,
Fear not as days grow colder,
For God our Lord will set thee free.

If clouds and storms do come upon you,
Then tarry not, for not it stays.
God our Lord will never leave you,
He stays with you through out your days.

And when strong winds upon you sway,
Know that He will help you to bear
Fear not for it shall ne'er stay
As you are always in His care.

Then when the bright sun shines through
Soak in the warmth that God has sent,
And know that He forever holds you,
Close to Him.
