Keeper Of The Keys

Have you traveled far?
Heavy burdens on your back.
In your heart are many needs.
Go To Jesus.
He is the Keeper of the keys.

Sadness fills your soul.
You know not where to go.
Pray on bended knee
Take it all to Jesus
Keeper of the keys.

Is your journey long and dark
For some light you plead.
Fall on bended knees and go to Jesus,
He is the keeper of the keys.

Now the end of the road you see.
Your earthly body is laid down.
Your soul now enters heavens gates,
Jesus leads you all the way.
He is the keeper of the keys.

Thank you Ivy Rose, I was thinking as I watched my grandson play with keys, that everything worthwhile is under lock and key, but God so freely gives. Yet, He is the keeper of the keys to freedom. floria

I would say this is a very sound poem
both poetically and spiritually
