Just Today It's been a year since I have seen, The sweet smile of my son. It's been too long since I have felt, The bright rays of the sun. But just today, I felt the love, Of Jesus, God's own son. It's been a year since you have seen, A smile upon my face.. It's been too long since I have felt, My loving sons embrace. But just today I felt the love, Of Gods eternal grace. Dear Newell. I have no words. Only tears running down my face. I wrote this on dec. 5th, as that was the day last year he died. I couldn't post it till now.. Thank you Newell. I copied and pasted it and printed it out with a picture of our Savior at the top, Then I printed my out the same way and I am going to frame them. I thank you so very much. God bless. floria |

Praise God for the beginning of your healing. He surely will soothe every part of you with precious memories of your son. He will surely strengthen the sinew of your being with the comfort of His Spirit. I'm sure you know that wounds that are very deep must be cleansed and healed from the inside out, not covered over with a bandage, for then they will only fester and later burst more horrendous than before. Surely this year has just been the beginning of healing from the deepest recesses of the pain. Beautifully written, strbbux, wonderfully shared. Floria: I am so sorry for your great loss. I hope that you are beginning to find peace. I lost my only grandson years ago and remember how traumatic it was, so can understand to some extent what you are going through. God Bless you! |
