I knelt to pray But not for long I had to much to do I had to hurry to get to work For bills woudl soon be due So I knelt and hurried to say a prayer I jumped off my knees My Christian duty was done now My sould could rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread the word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I feared No time No time To much to do That was my constant worry No time to give to souls in need But at last The time to die I went before the Lord I came, I stood with down cast eyes For in His hands God held the book of life God looked into His book " I cannot find your name" He said "I was going to write it down... But I never found the time." |

Great reminder of taking time for God. Often, we get so busy doing His work we tend to forget time for Him. I think God would rather have our attention and relationship than having us running around doing even good deeds. Thanks for reminding us today. Cheryl |
