I Praise Him I ask You Lord for Your sweet grace. And so I come on bended knee. I kneel in prayer and show my face. With all the love I have for Thee. I stand up tall and raise my hands, To praise Almighty God with song. I'll follow all that You command. To You forever I belong. I sit in prayer and open wide, My heart and soul to hold Your love. For my sins it was, You died. My soul, You wash as white as dove. And never shall I turn away. My face from Your sweet light. From now until my dying day. My faith Thou do ignite. This is a lovely poem/prayer, hon, many times well, most of the time when I pray, it comes so hard and I just say what I feel is babble, but that seems to work most of the time......most of the time.... I'm babbling again, not making any sense these days I think I am completely drained which is probably why I am reading spiritual..poetry Kathleen--(Kay) |

Irish rose, you are doing it right, Just talking to God like you do to anyone else. What I do is High Praise, a meditation and Praise, I never ask Him for anything, Never. I just praise, and He cares for me. I hope you get some rest and don't feel so drained. Just taking some quiet time and talking to God helps a lot. Our minds need a rest too. God bless. floria |
