I ask God for his help and then
I do it on my own again,
Forgetting that I have the choice
Of listening for my dear Lord's voice.

And I remember now how sad
I felt at every time I had
Advised my child with love and care
And she gave an unhearing ear.

I did You a disservice Lord.
I did not listen for Your word.
I'm sorry if I caused You pain
And turn to You in prayer again.

Oh Joyce, we all do it. I leave it all with Him and then my humaness wants me to do it all by myself and I forget and try to do it myself. And I know it is so much easier leaving it all with the Lord, this was a bit sad, but He always forgives. So that is a happy note. floria

(big hugggssssss) Oh Floria, this is so sad but beautiful; I know just how you feel and believe we all have times where we forget how blessed we are that He is there for us all, then in dire straits we once again look up to Him! Sometimes it's hard to hear God's voice when we don't want to hear it... but it's always easy to hear when we want to
