 My God Adored With heart so full of love for You my Lord, Your words I read and fill my empty soul. I came in pain and You have made me whole. On knees I bend with love in full accord. For once I stood alone and unrestored, And just as stallion watches over foal, Your arms surround me with complete control, And You my Lord are now my full reward. The darkness I have hated and abhorred, I sought to find a better life for me. A path that would a better way afford. And lead me to my God eternally. Then I'll forever serve Him so adored. And thank Him for His love to me so free. Floria |

Thank you Newell, your compliments and praise give me the confidence to continue to write, No although sometimes I follow a form like with the villanelle. I just wrote this, I had read several like this in a poetry book and just followed the form, Did not know it was a sonnet, or "close " to a sonnet, I must look that form up.
