Evening Prayer

Oh Lord, who watches over all
And answers when You hear us call,
I hope this day brought You a smile
And made You feel man is worthwhile.
That in the world, more good than bad,
More joyous deeds and less of sad,
Have come to pass and you can see
A greater sense of harmony!
That people turn away from war
And wonder what they're fighting for.
They seek for peace and look to You
To guide them in the things they do!
