If only I could be the Christ, I would say: "Come near to me" let me carry this burden for thee. Let me answer all your questions, let me explain the Why to those who want to know. If only I could be the Christ, I would teach them right, those who make mankind suffer in name of me. If only I could be the Christ, I would bring them to their senses, all the people in the world. I would lead them on save trail, no exceptions granted. Expel the hathred from their hearts, replace it in one blow with Love. If only I could be the Christ, no suffering or pain anymore, a world of happiness galore. I'd give each one a ticket, always price, to live for evermore with me in paradise. If only I could be the Christ, I would've known what I should do, but I almost forgot I'm not, it's You. Please forgive me Lord, I feel so powerless and humble, when over sorrow and pain I stumble. Teach me how to bear it all, no questions asked. Teach me to think positive. Teach me how to share my Love You are the Christ, there's only One but where you are, is known by none Life on the internet begins at...90!
