there exist men who think the world around them revolves. lives brimmed empty with a kaleidoscope of acquaintances and safety net friends, who put faith in their false pretences. these men not few in number with articulated charismas sprinkles society with numbed lies that never surrender. carried out craftily often against the compassionate men and women of humanity one… by… one. these men, they exploit their closest friends and loved ones staying close those who at all times agree or at least ignore their actions and walking away from any who try to reprove them. like a sponge they will twist you, squeeze and use you and repeatedly abuse you till, to them there’s no longer any desirable moisture left within you. these men, only use themselves, fool and severely bruise themselves making them callus and malignant while they seemingly prosper. their lives are merely filled with empty ‘birds of a feather’ who will ensure that the same remedy is returned. inevitably they will fall pray to their own orchestrations and fabrications. Like flowers they now bloom For tomorrow they will all wither. there exist men who by their own admission claim to be adjacent to perfection at no fault when there’s argumentation. still! they’re filled as illustrious in the minds of our children who take their sides… led by their superficial facades and verbalized good intention. the lies they brazenly flaunt without conscience often wreck the lives of those filled with innocence. they pray to God (but to which?) more than the righteous, claim to be blessed and have the audacity to desire to counsel us. for these I offer no explanation their procedures to be swallowed needs much simplification i ask God “who gives them the justification, and authorization”? for it is he who promises their annihilation. yet we must refrain from judgment of these. two wrongs equals no right and no rectification of this quandary. even though liberation’s key we hope to grasp never allow your hearts to succumb to their squat. by reason of this… “please” i ask God “forgive” forgive them and forgive us. please… for we all are sinners. ©2002 hayden a. james My poetry is at: http://www.thehayden.org |

Wow... such righteous anger!!! You ARE allowed to be angry at those among us that exploit the innocent, especially when it is our children that tend to be their unknowing victims... And yet we have all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.... but I pray that we can undo the damage that has been done to turn our children toward viewing such men as leaders and mentors. We have been invaded by cute little cartoons that do not teach our children about Christ, but attempt to give us the impression that they are still harmless entertainment. We need to give our children better heros. Sherry Cherish the good memories past and look forward to the adventure called Tomorrow. |

Hayden, You have posted this in Open#20 also. This is a violation of Passions policies. In the future, please determine which forum in which you desire to post and then post your work in that ONE forum. Thank you. As to your work, you rail on about a percieved injustice until you reach the inevitable conclusion that we must pray for those "sinners" and allow God to do His work. I am hapy you know the answer to your question that you put to God. I am glad He opened your eyes. God bless and keep you. Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write. |
