Fair Walking ~*Marge Tindal*~ I have come fair walking across this day of gifted adorn Caught the sun in rising on early rays of morn~ Took pause to hear a Sparrow sing his morning song Watched in sweet contentment at butterflies upon the lawn~ Saw a rainbow kiss the sky after an August rain Lifted my voice in thankfulness for His promise I see again~ I have come fair walking into the twi-of-night display Thanking The Maker of my understanding for gifting me this day~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
