Mirrors of darkness with images surreal Mirrors of pain make me turn away Images to real with rage to gaze upon Inflamed by wrong passions said to be true Escaping them impossible to do I try to hide Rising above gives way to a heaviness suffocating My dreams no longer allowed to be envisioned Oppressions cloud set in, pulling me down to drown My childhood is gone seeing no way back Foggy mist consumes the way I am lost Hard to breathe here in this expanse Too much for me to bear and care My cells cease to function normally I loose consciousness of time Arresting the very core of my being I forgot who I am Only a miracle can bring me back to life The SON must thaw this frozen soul Only HE can send the fire to burn this dross Crying from the center of a bitter heart Comes the scream for help I am helpless |

WOW! This is sad, and yet it's not without hope! He can melt the frozen heart, he can touch the feeling within and bring those 'dry' bones back to life! For he is the living waters! Very well written and touching deep within! |

Deeply moving! So desperate, yet the last verse brings hope, "Only a miracle can bring me back to life The SON must thaw this frozen soul Only HE can send the fire to burn this dross Crying from the center of a bitter heart Comes the scream for help" a miracle asked for, believing, a miracle received.
