MISTAKES ARE GOOD Mistakes are good; by them we learn the way we ought not go. Don't scold yourself but simply turn, equipped with what you know. |

I agree Kenneth...when we make mistakes I believe it puts us one step closer to the answer. |

You have said so much with so few words. We definitely learn from our mistakes! ------------------ ~*~ Time erases and rewrites all the lines. What remains is the poetry! ~*~ |

Thank you all. A great many of my earlier poems (like this one) were inspired by my reading of Maxwell Maltz's "Psycho-Cybernetics," a masterpiece in self-image psychology. Of course, what better self image can a person have than that described in 1 John 3:1: "Behold, what love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called the children of God!"? |

You can never be told this enough times (only to forget it when you've made a mistake)so i want to thank you for this reminder - we aren't perfect and although we should be striving to be like Christ, mistakes are there to help us along the way! Well said in 4 lines! |

When a Christian fouls up, Satan will try to convince him that he's done nothing wrong. But when the Christian doesn't buy that lie, he tries to get the Christian to wallow in regret. After Peter denied the Lord, he found the "sorrow unto repentance that brings life." But Judas just found only the "sorrow that brings death." |

Just something I want to bring up here. In Matt. 27:3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, REPENTED himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders. Judas had repented! That's all! |
