Inspired by the "I Am" Challenge I am but a tiny grain of sand Lying on the beach of God's creation I glisten in the sunlight Of God's love Contributing to The beauty Of God's celestial shore Only a grain of sand Nevertheless Created by God's own hand I am I stand ready To be used As his word commands. |

Dear Septsong-- what comes to my mind is that we can have our I am's because of the Great I AM--and the morer we are attune to Him and His will for us the grreater we can become in His service, (I Corinthians 15:10), David Thank you for this one! "Our Creativity points to a Higher Creator--we couldn't have just happened, and for what ability we may possess--to God be the glory." -dlw- |

This is a great one! I love your humility as a grain of sand. It is so true that no matter how little we are, He can use us in mighty ways! He sure does that with you!!! love, Ellie 02 |

Enjoyed your poem very much. When you think of the billions of people on this earth and those billions of decendents of Adam and Eve, it's easy to equate our selves as a grain of sand on God's beach. He knows and loves each of us as if we were the only grain of sand on the entire beach. Warm regards, Byron |

Stepsong, I appreciate the concept around your lovely poem. I love how you took us, "I am but a tiny grain of sand" and weaved us into the tapestry of, "Created by God's own hand I am". Just beautiful, Marcy |

Septsong - A simple grain of sand! You have shown with your words, how nothing, no matter how small, is insignificant in His eyes. Thanks, Bonnie |

I am humbled by all your nice comments about this poem. Guess it goes to prove that "little is much when God is in it." |
